This technote will guide you through resetting the password for your FusionReactor 8.x instance, the process is also relevant for FusionReactor versions 7.x, 6.x and 5.x.
To reset the password for FusionReactor you can follow these steps:
- Stop your application server
- Locate your reactor.conf file at {FusionReactor Directory}/instance/{instance name}/conf/reactor.conf
- Open this file in a text editor
- Remove the line beginning with “user.0=Administrator”
- Restart your application server.
When you access FusionReactor you will be asked to set a new password for the administrator user.
