What’s New in FusionReactor – August 2025

What's New In FusionReactor

Over the past few months, we’ve introduced a series of enhancements to FusionReactor designed to advance observability, simplify troubleshooting, and bring AI-driven capabilities into your workflows. Together, these updates represent a significant step forward in how engineering teams can monitor, investigate, and optimize their systems. Below is a summary of the most impactful new features now available in FusionReactor.

FR Cloud MCP

With FR Cloud MCP, you can now connect AI assistants such as Claude Desktop directly to your FusionReactor Cloud data. This integration allows you to:

  • Access real-time insights from within your AI workflows

  • Run live queries against observability data

Leverage the open-source Grafana MCP project for streamlined connectivity

This functionality ensures that observability data is available precisely where and when you need it.

Introducing Katie and Katie MCP

We are pleased to announce Katie and Katie MCP, new tools designed to integrate and manage Kubernetes clusters with the support of AI.

The Katie agent offers two installation modes:

  • Read-only mode – Provides real-time cluster data to AI models without allowing any modifications
  • Read-write mode – Enables AI to both analyze live data and apply changes to your Kubernetes clusters

These capabilities extend AI assistance to cluster management, improving both monitoring and operational response.
